How it works

Briefing and search. We start by taking the time to understand what you are looking for, and what your specific needs will be. If you are not yet set on an area, we’ll help you find an area that meets your priorities. Our search process is meticulous; we look at every suitable on and off-market opportunity and shortlist only the best and most consistent with your brief. Buyers face strong competition for a limited supply of desirable property. Our ability to think creatively and work our contacts is vital to our success.

Shortlist and selection. We present the best places to you in the form of a report before arranging a viewing tour to inspect the selected options. On each viewing tour, you will be accompanied by us. Once we find the right property, we complete comprehensive due diligence and provide you with all the information you need to move forward. We look at the market value and recent comparable sales. We also analyse the necessity and cost of any refurbishments and advise how value can be added should you wish to undertake further work. Should you wish to go ahead with any work, we will recommend specialists and help put a team in place for you if needed.

Negotiation and acquisition. We negotiate on your behalf to secure the property at the best possible price. Once terms are agreed, we work closely with all parties to ensure the transaction runs smoothly. If any issues arise, we work swiftly to find a solution. Should you wish to get input from other industry experts, we have extensive contacts across a range of professions. Once acquired we are ready to assist with everything from moving in to fully managing a refurbishment project.

Fees. An upfront retainer of £2,000 + VAT is payable when you appoint DPR. This is then deducted from a final success fee which is paid once you complete your purchase.

Briefing and search. Our experience and expertise in the London rental market enables us to guide you to the most appropriate area and rental property that matches your requirements. If you are not yet set on an area, we’ll help you find an area that meets your priorities. Our search process is meticulous; we look at every suitable on and off-market opportunity and shortlist only the best and most consistent with your brief.

Shortlist and selection. Once we have completed a thorough search and agreed on the shortlist, we organise tours for you to view the properties and the surrounding areas. We do this until we have found the right property.

Negotiation and move-in. Once we’ve identified a property, we negotiate on your behalf to secure the property at the best possible price, on the most favourable terms. Once we’ve helped your sort the legalities, we will organise the move for you so that on the day you just have to walk into your new home, stress free. We will arrange all the utilities, including the right broadband and TV provision. We set-up your council tax, gas, electricity, and water. We can also fulfil additional requests you may have to make the home feel like yours.

The DPR team will lead your project, taking a proactive approach to ensure the highest standards are upheld throughout.

First, we’ll work closely with you to develop a clear and thorough brief, before assembling a bespoke team that will meet all your requirements.

Once the project begins we’ll oversee everything from planning and architects to builders and interior design.

We understand the commitment that renovation projects require so we will drive the work forward, making sure targets are met systematically, on time and in budget, and report back to you at every stage. We are also happy to help with the early stages of renovations, including licence to alter and planning applications, and sourcing and coordinating architects, builders and interior designers.

This gives you the freedom to input creatively and enjoy the process, secure in the knowledge that we will handle every technical, legal and safety aspect and manage your project from the first moment to the day you move in.
